2013 Swim Lesson Class Descriptions
2012-2013 Penguins Swim Team Information
The first day of practice for the Penguins will be October 22 and will continue Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 5:00-6:00.
The Pre-Season clinics will be held September 10-20, September 24- October 4, and October 8-18. All of the clinics will be held Monday-Thursday from 4:00-5:00. The cost of the clinics will be $15/swimmer. For more information, please contact Pat Kellam at swimpenguinspat@gmail.com.
The pool will be closed from Saturday, August 25th until Tuesday, September 4th.
YMCA members must register in person at the front desk at which time all fees for classes must be paid. Registration will begin on the specified Friday morning at 5:00 a.m. and continue until Sunday night at closing. If you cannot come to enroll your child, you may send someone else provided they know all the necessary information and have the class registration fee.
Swim Class Fees: Youth – $30.00
Adult – $30.00

ARC Lifeguarding Classes
Date: Sunday, May 6, 2012 – Sunday, May 13, 2012
Cost: $275 includes ARC Lifeguarding, ARC First Aid and ARC Professional CPR, all books, all first aid equipment and CPR mask and gloves
In order to take Lifeguarding, an individual must be at least 15 years old and pass a pre-water test. The course includes Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid. For further information, call Philip or Chris at the Eden YMCA at 623-8496. Sign up at the Member Services Desk.
