Through our Friends of Youth program, the Eden Family YMCA offers financial assistance for those who might not otherwise be able to afford an Eden or Western Rockingham YMCA membership. With financial assistance, adults, children, and families find the resources they need in YMCA programs like membership, child care, youth sports, summer fun camps, swim lessons, gymnastics, and others.
Our goal is that no one be without a YMCA membership because they cannot afford it. To submit an application, stop by the Eden Family YMCA and ask for a confidential scholarship application. From there, refer to the instructions on the application.
When submitting your application, an appointment will be deemed necessary, and can be made with Amelia Seaver at 336-623-8496. All applicants will be required to provide a current tax return or proof of financial status. The YMCA will also need a copy of two current paycheck stubs from the applicant as well as anyone else living in the household.
